Tear Trough Injections:

Hyaluronic Acid for Dark Circles

Dark circles often make the face appear tired, strained, or older. Their causes are diverse: loss of volume, thin skin, pigmentation, or visible blood vessels. Therefore, an individually tailored treatment is particularly important.

How your dark circle treatment works

Before treating your dark circles, a careful analysis is conducted, as dark circles usually have very complex causes that we diagnose with high precision.

It is also vital to distinguish them from “eye bags” (puffy lower lids), which require a different treatment strategy.

In cases of volume loss or a pronounced tear trough, we prefer treatment with specifically suited hyaluronic acid fillers. These can level out hollows and support the skin from within, contributing to a fresher, more awake look.

The treatment is gentle, typically causes only minimal pain, takes about 20–30 minutes, and usually shows immediately visible effects.

Depending on the individual findings, the results typically last between 9 and 12 months.

Combination therapies for tear trough injections

Often, it is the combination of different treatment approaches that leads to an optimal result. Depending on the cause and skin condition, the following options may be considered:

  • Skinboosters: Improve skin quality and hydration.
  • Polynucleotides (e.g., “Salmon Sperm Lift”): Can improve skin structure, support collagen formation, and densify the skin so that underlying vessels appear less visible.
  • Mesotherapy with NCTF: Intensive skin revitalization through targeted stimulation of fibroblasts, combined with an immediately noticeable refreshing effect.
  • PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma): Can stimulate collagen production and strengthen the skin structure.
  • Fractional eCO2 Laser: Suitable for the non-surgical treatment of fine lines and mild hooded eyelids.
  • Cosmeceuticals: Supportive skincare for mild dark circles, individually tailored to your needs.

After a careful analysis, we create an individual treatment plan—with the goal of achieving a natural, safe, and sustainable result for the sensitive eye area.
