Severe acne inflammation can often leave behind deep, persistent scarring. For many, these scars remain visible even under makeup or a beard, which can lead to significant self-consciousness and emotional distress.

At our practice, we believe in a bespoke approach to scar revision. Depending on the depth and extent of the affected areas, we typically recommend fractional CO2 laser resurfacing, microneedling, or a combination of both. While laser treatments are ideally performed during the winter months when UV exposure is low, microneedling remains an excellent option year-round, provided that rigorous sun protection is maintained.
